North Queensland Manager Jose Foruria explains that GHD has a long history of supporting the growth of regional communities, especially in Northern and Central Queensland, where the company has had a permanent presence since 1948.
According to Jose, GHD recognises the importance of the North to the economic development of the country and the continued development of Northern Australia forms part of the company’s strategy for the future.
Councillor Peter Maundrell from Central Highlands Regional Council also officiated at the event, welcoming GHD’s commitment to the region.
GHD’s Emerald office is led by Phil Jeston, a Principal Environmental Scientist with more than 30 years of experience. He will be supported by GHD’s Mackay and Gladstone offices and its global network of more than 8500 people.
